While a beef fillet can sometimes mean any boneless cut of meat, a fillet is actually cut from the lower part of the cow's back. The area which sits beneath the ribs next to the backbone and forms part of the sirloin.


The Jack's Creek produce is world renowned, truly masters in their field, producing world class beef. They have a spectacular track record and have won the World Steak Challenge this year! But that's not all, they have previously won the World Steak Challenge in 2016, 2017, 2019 with there world class fillets, sirloins and ribeyes.

The fillet is a prized cut, extremely tender with mouthwatering flavours. Sourced from the lower middle of the back and forms part of the sirloin. The fillet muscle is so tender because it’s the least working muscle, therefore making it incredibly soft. The fillet is a lean cut with little fat running through it but guarantees a succulent and flavoursome melt-in-your-mouth experience with every bite.
