The Sashi brand is exclusively available in Europe, it sources cattle with special genetic qualities for intramuscular fat. These qualities are found in hand-selected Holstein Friesian and Scottish Ayrshire cattle breeds that have been crossbred to produce impressive marbling; synonymous with wagyu.
The cattle is reared in Finland due to the excellent climate conditions; clean air and the ability for the cattle to graze on the lush green pastures. This significantly increases the beefs quality producing mouth watering taste and textures.
The Finnish Ayrshire Heifer beef is world-renowned, 3x winners from 2018 to 2021 in the World Steak Challenge. This is an excellent achievement in itself as it is put against 400 steaks from 23 different countries around the world, winning gold medals in fillets, ribeye's and sirloins.
