It is a hard-working muscle and, as a result, lends itself to slow cooking. This helps to tenderise the meat and render the fat content out to create an array of phenomenal flavours. This Hereford brisket has been ethically sourced from native breed Hereford cattle reared in the UK and can be delivered straight to your door.
Hereford cattle is famed for their high-quality and succulent beef, benefitting from their stress-free lifestyle and the dedication of our farming partners. This breed is able to fatten solely off grass- meaning all our cattle is 100% grass fed, packing the beef with extra flavour and nutrients.
The UK brisket scene is relatively new and undefined, but we’ve already got a recipe at hand. You should have all the ingredients for Tom’s Beef Brisket Recipe in your pantry, save the liquid smoke. Toasting leeks in the smoker can add a charred sugar-based smokiness to your meat without the need for liquid smoke and is a method that has been used for adding a smokey essence to food for hundreds of years.
