Ocean Beef | Ribeye | 1kg joint

Cut from the eye of the fore rib, the ribeye is prized for its natural balance of tenderness and flavour. This New Zealand beef is entirely grass fed, raised slowly on open pasture where a temperate climate and year-round grazing produce beef with exceptional depth and character. The result is a cut that speaks clearly of its provenance.

As it cooks, the fat gently renders into the meat, creating a full, savoury flavour and a succulent texture with just enough bite. Best cooked over high heat — whether in a heavy pan or over charcoal — the ribeye rewards a good crust and a rested finish. Serve simply to allow the natural sweetness and mineral depth of the beef to come through.

This product is delivered frozen and may begin to thaw in transit. For best quality and safety, we do not recommend refreezing once defrosted.
