Like onglet, this is a loose textured, highly flavoured flat cut. A favourite amongst butchers due to its taste profile and building a wider audience as an exciting alternative for steak nights and BBQs. 100% grass fed.

Nicknamed 'The Butcher's Cut' as they would often save this for themselves, the Bavette is known for it's distinctive grain and full flavour. This cut features the perfect ratio of muscle and fat, and it's unique texture allows for excellent results when cooked as a steak or even as a whole joint.  It is cut from the flank of the cow, giving it a loose texture similar to the onglet and allows great versatility when cooking.

"This one of my favourite cuts. Used some Angus & Oink Black Gold seasoning on a lightly oiled 600g piece and seared on a high heat for 2mins each side before resting in a 50 degree oven for 10 mins. Served thinly sliced on a slather board as a sharing steak for 2/3 people. Just about to order some more !"
